Greg Pounds

Biographie

Greg Pounds is the senior vice president of engineering and operations at Glint. He has extensive experience growing small engineering teams into large ones. He has been the founding engineer as well as leading a 270+ engineering and operations team across multiple countries and disciplines.

Prior to Glint, Greg held a number of senior technology positions including Vice President of Cloud Research and Development at BroadSoft (acquired by Cisco), CEO/Founder of Casabi (acquired by BroadSoft), Entrepreneur in Residence at Mayfield along with other technical management positions in Vertical Networks, Jetstream, Octel.  Greg’s technical experience spans SaaS services, VoIP, mobile, collaboration systems and messaging platforms provided to large enterprise and service providers worldwide.

Greg holds 24 patents in the areas of communications, collaboration and distributed system design.

Greg earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.  He also completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Executive Program for Growing Companies.
